Horror StoriesHaving been involved in the timeshare industry for almost 10 years in the USA, I am excited to see your site and hear what others across the globe have to say about our industry.Unfortunately, there are horror stories, too numerous to count, but alas,there are also many happy timeshare owners who would not holiday any other way. Having step children in the UK, I understand the difference in "thinking" of our American counterparts. And all who share, keep the faith, there are many, like myself, who have seen the difference in the lives of families this product gives. Be sharp when you are on a tour. There is always a price drop. And there is always a bottom line that the resort will not pass. The gifts are not always what one is lead to think by whoever markets the resort. But don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Telemarketers and others who market the resorts are paid for you to sit in a presentation, and unfortunatley, some will say anything to get you in. Often the developer of the resort is unaware of the practices of these individuals. Look at what is being presented to you. And if you have any questions, ask. ask ask.
