I visited this place a few years ago. The lodges were reasonably fitted out. I remember going on an inflatable banana - that was fun! As a base in the south of the Lake District it is a good jumping off point. And even if wet, there are lots of fanastic National trust places to visit in the Lake District.Webmaster, TimeshareUK.com
About Pine Lake, Lancashire: Lodges face a lakefront and are available in different size units.
E.g. 2 Bedroom unit (sleep 6) lodge 203. This has a pine clad interior and is beautifully furnished and fully equipped it has a front balcony with patio furniture which overlooks the lake. The lodge is centrally heated and comprises of: a sunny open plan lounge/dining room with colour TV, video, satellite system, hi-fi.
Fully fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, microwave and dishwasher. 2 good- sized bedrooms, 1 Double and 1 twin bedroom. A bathroom with a shower over the bath, hand basin and W.C, and a private sauna. Bed linen and towels are supplied and there is pre-allocated private parking.
Pine Lake Resort is Set at the gateway to the Lakes, and is the perfect base for touring northern England's famous landmarks, as it is only minutes drive away from the motorway. Windermere and the central lakes are only a half hour drive away. The Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach and for a day at the seaside the resorts of Blackpool, Morecambe, Silverdale and Arnside are a short drive away.
Pine Lake Resort is built around a 70-Acre water-sports lake. The carefully planned leisure resort has a wealth of facilities on site it offers both leisure and entertainment facilities including a leisure centre with an Indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and gymnasium, including a water-sports centre with sailing, water- skiing, 2 tennis courts and private fishing area, and children’s play areas.
The clubhouse boasts a restaurant, and a bar, which has regular entertainment and a separate entertainment room, which provides organised programs of entertainment. There is an on site shop and the reception has a wide selection of videos for hire.
