Los Gigantes is a pretty village with an attractive range of small shops and a marina. Tourist coaches stop
to let holiday makers take pictures of the cliffs.
Loro Parque is about 90 minutes drive along twisty mountain roads from Los Gigantes. But the dolphin show
alone is worth it.
If you have never been to the volcanic area of Teide and Parque Nacional de las Canadas del Teide, it is a
must. From Los Gigantes you could drive up and back again one early afternoon returning mid-evening. Take a
cardigan, though, it can be cool and windy up there.
