If you choose an agent to sell for you, you might well be asked to pay a sellers fee on top of any commission fee which the agent may also try to get from the buyer.

The size of the up front fee you are asked to pay is no guide to the quality of service they will provide for you. Agent added fees effectively increase the selling price of your resort.

You need to ask if that will make your selling price realistic.

There is no evidence found to suggest that an agent can be any more successful than selling it yourself, but obviously agents can help spread the word for you.
